Upon achievement of this qualification, the learner will be equipped as an Advanced Practitioner. The Advanced Practitioner will use crucial leadership skills to mentor others across all roles and responsibilities in the school or college workforce.
Who is it suitable for?
The qualification is aimed at learners who are employed in suitable roles within schools or colleges. Learner knowledge and understanding that comes from working in schools or colleges is a requirement for this CPD qualification.
What are the entry requirements?
Learners must be at least 18 years old and employed in a suitable role within a school or college. Previous Level 3 study is a clear advantage but wealth of experience, knowledge and understanding working in schools or colleges is a requirement for this CPD qualification. Your training provider will be able to offer you discreet advice in relation to your suitability for entry.
We do not set any other entry requirements but Centres may have their own guidelines.

Recently working with a UK Awarding Organisation, CACHE and NCFE, for 9 years in senior teams and consulting roles to develop their international strategy and support the growth and development of the company both in the UK and Internationally. I have over 30 years’ experience in early years and schools market and I am skilled in teaching, training development and delivery, coaching, mentoring and research.
Sarah Bellairs is co-founder and Director of The International Education Group (TiEGr) providing bespoke services to the international and UK vocational education sector.
Before starting TiEGr, Sarah was the International Partnership Development Manager at CACHE, (now NCFE) a UK regulated awarding organisation. At CACHE Sarah worked with education providers internationally to set up training centres in the Middle East, S.E. Asia, India and Europe, along with supporting existing centres to develop and grow their business. Sarah has organised, attended and spoken at a range of education conferences in the Middle East, Malaysia and the UK and has travelled extensively in these areas.
Sarah has 25 years experience in the education sector including project management and development, programme and resource development, project tendering and reporting, teaching, assessing and external quality assurance.
Prior to CACHE, Sarah’s previous international experience has included working with youth education projects in France and Romania, as well as working with the British Council on a community development project in Indonesia.
Sarah has a Masters Degree in International Development from Brunel University, a BA (Hons) in Youth and Community and is a qualified External Quality Assurer.
Travelling is one of Sarah’s passions and she has spent much time in many countries for business and pleasure including the Middle East, S.E. Asia, India, Africa, the Americas, Australasia and Europe.
