TiEGr Wins Essex County Council Multiply Best Family Learning Provider Award!

We are incredibly proud to announce that TiEGr has been awarded the Essex County Council Multiply Best Family Learning Provider Award. This prestigious recognition highlights our commitment to empowering families through education, and we are delighted to have delivered 90% of Multiply Family Learning courses in Essex.

Since the start of 2023, we have supported over 3,000 Multiply learners, making a lasting impact on families across Essex. Our Multiply Maths courses have been delivered in over 90 schools, reaching more than 1,400 parents and carers. Through these courses, we are helping parents build confidence in maths and better support their children’s learning journey.

A Diverse Range of Family Learning Programmes

Our work extends beyond maths. In addition to our six core Multiply Maths courses, we have also delivered a variety of family learning programmes designed to enhance life skills, financial literacy, and overall wellbeing, including:

  • Managing Money and Money Confidence – Practical skills to improve financial awareness
  • Skills for Employment – Supporting parents in enhancing their job prospects
  • Financial Literacy – Helping families understand budgeting and financial planning
  • Life Skills and Wellbeing – Equipping parents with everyday essential skills

Our Multiply Maths Courses

Delivered in schools, early years settings, and family hubs, our six Multiply Maths courses are tailored to different learning stages:

  • Early Years Maths – For parents with children in early years
  • Reception & Key Stage 1 – Engaging parents of younger primary learners
  • Key Stage 1 Maths – Focused on foundational numeracy skills
  • Key Stage 2 Maths – Supporting parents with older primary school children
  • Transition to Year 7 Maths – Helping parents navigate the jump to secondary school maths
  • Cooking for Parents and Children (EYFS/KS1) – A fun, practical way to integrate maths into everyday activities

Making a Real Difference

Our courses foster confidence, community, and a love for learning. The impact is evident in the positive feedback we receive. Melanie Pointon from Larkrise Primary School shared her experience:

“The course was a huge success. I was sitting in the next room so could hear a lot of the conversation and teaching – there was a real sense of community. I sat with a parent after the course who had been very nervous about going back to math as she felt that she couldn’t do it at school. She said that she wished it had gone on longer and that she wished she was going on to do more. There was such a sense of achievement about her it really was wonderful. She has asked, what are we doing next! A few of the parents have now signed up for the KS1 course as KS2 was so helpful. We look forward to booking more!”

Our Family Learning programmes are more than just courses, they are opportunities for parents to build confidence, improve their skills, and support their children’s education. We are proud to have such a difference in the lives of families across Essex.
