Supporting Staff Well-being in Early Years

Working in the early year’s sector can be emotionally demanding and stressful as well as rewarding and joyful. Research has shown that good staff well-being is central to, and an integral part of the early years setting. When staff are supported and feel that their well-being is prioritized this leads to a happier, balanced, and more content environment for children and staff.

With mental health organizations like Mind reminding us that 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem each year, there is an increasing awareness of the importance of supporting and promoting staff well-being.
