TiEGr offers Family Learning and Childcare courses across Greenwich supporting adults who want to develop new skills, support children’s learning, or begin a rewarding career working with children.
What is Family Learning?
Family Learning courses are 15-hour community-based programmes delivered across Greenwich in schools and local community settings. They are designed to help parents and carers improve English and maths skills while supporting their children’s learning and development. Our interactive, practical sessions focus on EYFS, Key Stages 1, and 2 curriculum areas.

Family Learning in English and Maths
Learn together and grow together! A fun, hands-on programme where parents and children attend together to explore everyday English and maths in engaging and practical ways. Helping parents build confidence while supporting their child’s learning. It’s a great way to strengthen family bonds, boost skills, and make learning enjoyable for everyone.


Introduction to Working in Childcare and Early Years Settings
Thinking about a career working with children? Our Introduction to Working in Childcare and Early Years Settings course is the perfect place to start. This flexible, 12 week programme combines online and face-to-face sessions to help you develop the skills and confidence needed to work with children aged 0–11. You’ll learn about child development, safeguarding, and play-based learning, building a strong foundation for a rewarding new career in early education.
