TiEGr’s visit to the China-Britain Business Council in Victoria, London

 In Asia, TiEGr updates

We travelled from Essex to into London this week to visit the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) to discuss with Jodie Qiao the opportunities available in the Early Years sector regarding partnerships, training and consultancy. This meeting is following on from the DIT event in Westminster, London on 7 December 2017, where we met with Chinese education groups, investors and government-affiliated organisations, to explore the possibilities for collaboration. The 2017 event also included a business matching morning of one-to-one discussions between UK providers and the Chinese delegates, following on from this meeting we have had several enquiries from China and have decided to research the market more closely, planning ahead for 2019.

It is interesting to note exports to China are steadily increasing, they reached more than £16.5 billion in 2017. China is now the 6th largest market for UK goods and 17th for services.
